Our connection to the Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre (IPP) has been growing strong in the last few years. We are currently “Partners of Excellence”, as we have been essential in supporting the training of future generations of professionals and providing significant benefits. We’ve recently supported their "Polytechnic of Excellence" event, which will reward the student with the highest application average among those placed in the 1st year in the academic year 2023/24, of the Master in SME Management. The award was hand-delivered by Dr. Carlos Paiva, General Director of the site in Portalegre.
The event attributes annual prizes, sponsored by relevant and highly prestigious companies, entities or personalities, to the best graduates and students from different study cycles – CTESP, Bachelor's and Master's – from the various schools of the Polytechnic.
Tânia Boto, our Portalegre’s executive assistant also participated in the event, “I was present not only to accompany Dr. Carlos Paiva as his secretary, but also because this institution is a bit “mine”, as it is where I am also a professor with the category of guest assistant, and where I had the opportunity to obtain my degree and master's degree, in SME Management. Also, some of the award-winning students were also my students, so I was very grateful to be present."
Our engagement with the IPP represents our proactive efforts to promote the future of the communities where we operate, by continuously helping with resources that will help with the development of young people.
We believe that giving opportunities to the students to thrive through education is a commitment with the future generations. This way, we empower individuals with knowledge, skills and critical thinking, nurturing talent and innovation.
