Environmental education of our youth is the cornerstone for a balanced future where people and planet can flourish together. At Evertis we support the communities of the countries where we operate by acting on those who are the future: children and youth. That’s why we have decided to support 6 primary schools in the State of Jalisco, Mexico, in three main areas:

• Environmental education to raise awareness among kids and their families about the importance of waste collection and recycling
• Workshops in collaboration with the community in topics such as permaculture, bio-construction or waste pick-up at beaches
• Reconstruction of schools, and improvement of their infrastructure, as well as computer equipment

These schools will be financially supported in 2022 and monitored by our sister Foundation, the Sol Pacífico Foundation. We hope for the scalability of the project, so that more communities can be positively affected in the future.
